Client: Telecommunications Start: 1.6.2026 Duration: long-term project Hybrid work model: Bratislava (Home Office and On-site), with occasional travel to the Vienna Contract: Freelance or Internal We are looking for a Solution Architect who can also roll up their sleeves. Someone who defines the technical vision and guardrails - but who isn't afraid to get hands-on when it matters. - You'll be deep in the codebase, validating that what the vendor builds actually holds up. As the project matures and the team grows, you step back into a more architectural role. - Ownership, you may shift hands-on again to push the next evolution forward. - If you can only do one or the other - pure architecture or pure delivery - this role isn't for you. What will you be doing? - You'll join the frontend ecosystem as both the architectural authority and a hands-on technical lead on the Austrian side of the client. Your job is to own the blueprint, validate the vendor's delivery up close, and make sure nothing drifts. The shape of the role changes over time: - Early phase - heavily hands-on: reviewing, prototyping, validating, sometimes just doing it yourself to set the standard - Mid phase - architectural focus: the vendor and growing Austrian team are moving, your job is to coordinate, decide, and guard - Later - hands-on again where it matters: driving the next layer of the product as the AT team takes full ownership of the base Throughout all phases: - Define and document the frontend architecture - Act as the primary technical contact for the AT-side vendor team - Work closely with the SK frontend team who set the foundation and back you up - Gradually shape and build out an internal AT team for long-term ownership - Embed AI-first engineering practices as a standard from day one
