Requirements Engineer for Core Banking Integration

Job Description

In cooperation with our client - the leading international bank headquartered in Vienna, we’re on a mission to transform the Core Banking System – and we’re looking for a Requirements Engineer who’s ready to dive into system integration at the heart of a major banking transformation project.

 

 

🧩What you’ll do:

Work in an agile environment as part of the Core Banking Tribe

Support the integration of a new Core Banking System into our existing IT landscape

Analyze and document current integrations (data flows, interface schedules, business logic, etc.)

Collaborate with business analysts and architects to define the target integration approach

Create functional specifications and define test cases

Support system testing and documentation of findings

Optionally contribute to other requirements engineering tasks across the Core Banking transformation

🎯 What you bring:

Technical background (completed technical education)

3+ years of experience in requirements engineering or a similar role in financial services

Experience with system integration concepts and techniques

Familiarity with automated testing (a plus)

Experience with Core Banking Systems (a plus)

Tools: Jira, Confluence, Zephyr

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Fluent in English (German is a plus, not a must)
