We are seeking an experienced E2E Payroll Solution Engineer to support a client’s Global Payroll Transformation Program, focusing on technical solution design, translation of business requirements into technical specifications, country‑specific payroll process documentation, and alignment with Engineering Operations standards. The role strengthens the team as the rollout approaches more complex countries.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design:
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications.
- Refine and validate multi‑country payroll solution design across vendors and platforms (Deel, Workday, Entra ID, Timesystem).
- Cooperate with HRIS integration engineer to design Workday → Payroll Provider integrations (file‑based/API).
- Evaluate configuration, data mapping, and solution logic to ensure compliance for complex markets.
Country Rollout Support:
- Document country‑specific payroll processes, statutory rules, and edge‑case scenarios.
- Prepare readiness checks for complex jurisdictions and ensure accurate country input.
- Support SIT/UAT cycles, scenario building, execution, and documentation.
Communication & Translation:
- Translate technical details into clear business language for People Advisory, Finance, and HR teams.
- Communicate risks, blockers, and solution options in business‑friendly terms.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Troubleshoot integration defects, mapping inconsistencies, and configuration gaps.
- Ensure solutions follow Engineering Operations standards, including data handling, security, and documentation requirements.
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Interface with global payroll vendor and internal stakeholders.
Participate in design reviews, integration workshops, and technical clarification sessions.
Documentation & Handover:
- Maintain clear, structured Confluence documentation for design decisions, mappings, and country specifics.
- Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams and support transition to BAU operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Global or multi‑country payroll system implementation or support.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex rules into technical logic.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Understanding of Workday HCM, payroll integrations, SFTP/CSV/API,
- Ability to document and interpret country‑specific payroll processes. (UML etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience implementing payroll solutions internationally (advantage).
- Knowledge of benefits, T&A integrations, compliance topics, and statutory reporting.
- Experience working in global, distributed teams.

- Matrix reporting to: Engineering Operations Lead.
