Data Engineer [AI Development & Automation]

For our Telco client based in Bratislava, we are looking for a Data Engineer

Work model: Freelancing or B2B 

Start: September 2026

Location: Bratislava - hybrid model 

Mission:

• design, implementation and automation of data flows (ETL/ELT), monitoring their operation and performance optimization in the telecommunications sector
• utilization of modern AI tools to accelerate development and automate data solutions
• analysis of business and technical requirements and design of end-to-end data solutions (datasets, BI reports, APIs, visualizations)
• cooperation with data architects, analysts, Data Science teams and external suppliers in the design of data models and infrastructure
• design and implementation of data integrations including APIs and processing data from various sources
• responsibility for data quality, technical documentation and adherence to security standards when working with sensitive data
• coordination of technical implementation of projects from analysis through development, testing to production deployment and post-deployment support
• monitoring the performance of data solutions, resolving incidents and meeting defined KPIs
• consultations with stakeholders, proposals for improving data processes and active participation in the development of the data platform
• work in Agile and Waterfall environments including project evaluation and preparation of recommendations for further development
• cooperation possible in a hybrid ON-SITE / REMOTE mode, preferably min. 2-3 days per week on-site [Bratislava], the rest remote
• final remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and the course of the selection process
